Yesterday, I had what I thought was going to be my last ultrasound and appointment with Dr. Hartline. Elisa came to watch Tyler while I was in my appointment and I told her she could stay in the ultrasound room and possibly get a peak at Callie. While Julie was doing me ultrasound, she checked the heartbeat. As I was watching, I noticed something oh too familiar. I seemed like the heart was skipping a beat or something. Tyler also did that when I was pregnant with him, but it started much earlier and lasted about 16 weeks. Julie kept checking different things and said that there was a bit of irregularity in it. She said she would talk to Dr. Hartline and see what he said about it. He told me she was measuring about 6 pounds 14 ounces, give or take a pound and a half and that I was slightly dialated at about 1cm. He listen to the heartbeat and decided to put me on a fetal monitor for about 20 minutes. It was horrible to sit there and wonder if every beat was ok or not. It was a rough morning. Based on what he found on the fetal monitor he was not really concerned and said he would do a recheck ultrasound on Tuesday to see if it's still there. I won't actually see the doctor unless something else is up. So as of now, we are still on for C-section at 7:30 on Jan. 14. Guess I should finish packing.
My Blackberry did come in yesterday which was super exciting and Callie's Lands End tote. I was upset that the monogramming did not match the bag. Luckily, they are quick shipping me another one.
