Easter Eve and Easter

Saturday night, Tyler, Callie, and I went to my parents for a while so we could let Scott rest from his long day at work. Tyler finally painted his plaster eggs, and I let him color some eggs too. He really seemed to enjoy himself. I tried to deviled eggs. Yeah, I have done it before and it is not that hard of a task. For some reason, I really am not sure what for sure caused this, but the eggs WOULD NOT PEEL. I thought I was going to loose my mind trying to peel the 18 eggs. I ended up having to go to the store and get more because I was destroying every egg as I peeled them. My dad, of course, came to the rescue and saved me an made perfect deviled eggs.

Yesterday morning, Scott went to work before Tyler woke up. I called him when I thought Tyler was about to get up, so he could come home and watch Tyler see his basket for the first time. Tyler was so excited about his Jumpy Ball, Shrek 3, The Chipmunks-Squeakquel, and Candy. He was jumping around for hours. Callie got a cute Cupcake Carters Outfit, 2 bug cars, a Baby Einstein CD, and a precious white bunny. She really does love holding the bunny and sucking on the ears.

We went to my parent's church, Eastminster Presbyterian on Asheville Hwy. Scott, Tyler, Callie, and I go there pretty regularly. It was a wonderful sermon as always great to remind myself of what Jesus sacrificed for us.

We went to Ft. Sanders to see my grandmother on the Transitional Floor. She is finally doing better and they are planning to send her home on Monday. My aunt Marsha and her husband Pete were there and they got to see us all dressed up in our Easter Outfits.

We went to Debby and John's house after and had a wonderful lunch meal, as always. Baby Richie was taking a nap when we got there and Tyler was so excited when he woke up. They went outside and played with the Gator, bubbles, and jumpy ball.

When we left Debby's house, Callie, Tyler, and I went to Mom and Dad's for the night. After Scott worked a long hard Sunday, and he had to get up at 3:15 the next morning we just stayed away a little longer and then went to my parents house to go to bed.

Tyler and Callie opened their Easter gifts from my parents. Of course, Tyler was in rare form at this point due to sugar overload. We called it an early night and Callie slept 9 hours. WOOHOO!

Here are my favorite 3 pictures from the day. I will post a slideshow with all pictures as well.
