Guess what?
As I said in my previous post, my house in unbearable with no air conditioner. Yesterday was oh so miserable. Last night, Scott and I went to Home Depot and bought a tower fan. It helped a little, but not enough. I decided that last night was the last time I would be staying at our house with no air. This morning, Tyler wanted a donut, so we took a trip to Walmart. While we were there, I picked up a few things we were out of. I also picked up a pregnancy test because I was late starting. Tyler and I then went to Home Depot to see Scott. The were grilling out and Tyler loves to see Sami and Suzie. When Tyler and I got home I ran upstairs and took the pregnancy test. I could not believe the results. I am pregnant! Wow! I did not immediately call Scott like I figured I would do. I just sat there for a few minutes and shed a few tears. I was really excited and could not believe it actually happened. I am so blessed and thankful it only took a couple of months. I have friends that have had much trouble trying to get pregnant. I tried to get pictures of the pregnancy test, but everyone I took turned out blurry. I got one on my phone and sent it to Kelly (Scott's brother's wife) and Elisa. They had both been asking me about it regularly and knew I was late starting. They were both excited. Next, I was trying to figure out how I was going to tell Scott, my parents, and Scott's parents. I called the baby stores in Knoxville trying to check on some t-shirts that said Big Brother, for Tyler to wear to see if they noticed. No one has anything that sounded really cute. I looked on the internet for a while, but remember my house is 90 degrees. I finally gave up and just wanted to figure out something quick to do for them. I wrote on a piece of paper. "I am going to be a big brother" and Tyler scribbled all over it. We went to my parents' house and I told Tyler to give MiMi the picture he drew for her. It was really sweet to watch her look at it. It took a few seconds, then she said "What you are pregnant?" We got ready for the things we had to do. On our way through town, we stopped at Home Depot and told Scott Tyler drew him a picture. He looked at it and was so excited too. I told him not to tell his parents, because I wanted to make a slideshow and email it to them with the last picture saying that we were expecting. Of course, he couldn't wait, so he just called and told them. When Mom and I got home from the mall. We told Will and my Dad to look at the picture. They both looked clueless for a second and were waiting for and explanation. I said " I am pregnant". Ha they are too funny. So I am sure I will tell a few people before I go to the doctor, which I probably should not do, but if something were to happen the people I am telling, I would want to know about it as well. I am going to put up post through out until I let everyone know so they can read what is going on. Here are a few funny pictures.
