As you all know, Scott, Tyler, and I go to the zoo almost every week. George, this baby chimp, was born at the Knoxville Zoo about 2 months ago. Every week when we go to the zoo we always try to see him, but George and his mommy are always alone and not out in the open. Today, we went to the zoo JUST to try to see George. I wanted to see him before he was all grown up. Luckily the maintenance guys were out doing something to the glass and they told us where the baby chimp and mom were in the exhibit. We ended up getting really close to George. It made our day. We had so much fun watching him.
This was our first spotting of him. Look at his little hands holding on to the mommy.
George is so cute.
