Halloween

Halloween was very uneventful for us this year. Mom came over to the house on Saturday and helped me upstairs in the nursery. We had a lot of stuff to go through and she helped me so much. We worked hard on it all day. When Tyler woke up from his late nap, we got him dressed up in his Batman costume and he was so excited about going to the mall to Trick-or-Treat. Before we left for the mall, we went in the pouring rain to Ron and Karen's house, our next door neighbors. Then Mom, Tyler, and I got in the car and went to the mall. There were tons of kids at the mall, and NO CANDY. I was so disappointed. They advertised that the stores were going to be giving out candy from 5-8 and we got there at 6:30. Too bad we walked the WHOLE mall, and only 4 stores were still participating. We then took Tyler to DeeDee and Papa's (my grandparents) house. My aunt, Debby, and cousin, Chris, were there and they all got to see Batman Tyler. It was a fun day, but we did not have very good Trick-or-Treating luck with the rain and lack of participation at the mall.
